Terms of use
Last updated 30 October 2026
By using Social Downloader you agree to these terms. They're short, please read them.
1. What the service does
Social Downloader lets you save a copy of media that is publicly available at a link you provide, or that is available to your own account on that site. We don't host, store or index any media; files exist on our server only for the few minutes needed to deliver them to you.
2. Your responsibility
- Only download content you own, content that is licensed for reuse, or content you have permission from the rights holder to save.
- Respect the terms of the site the content comes from and the laws of your country.
- Don't use the service to redistribute, sell or publicly re-upload other people's work without permission.
3. What isn't allowed
- Circumventing copy protection (DRM). Services such as Spotify, Apple Music and Netflix are not supported.
- Automated or bulk use (bots, scrapers, scripts) that overloads the service.
- Using someone else's account or login data when connecting accounts.
4. Fair use limits
To keep the service free and fast for everyone, we limit simultaneous downloads and file sizes, and we may block abusive traffic.
5. Copyright
Rights holders can ask us to block links to their content. See Copyright & DMCA.
6. No warranty
The service is provided "as is". Sites change often, so some links may stop working temporarily. We aren't liable for how you use downloaded content.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version.
