Privacy policy

Short version: we don't show ads, we don't use tracking or analytics cookies, we don't sell data, and downloaded files are deleted within minutes.

Using the downloader without an account

• Links you paste are sent to our server to read and download the video. They are not stored after the download is finished.
• Downloaded files are kept on our server only until your browser has downloaded them, and deleted automatically within about 15 minutes at the latest.
• Your IP address is used while you are on the site to apply fair-use limits (for example, two downloads at once). Our web server may keep standard access logs for up to 14 days to protect the service from abuse.
• Your "Recent" list is saved only in your own browser (local storage). You can clear it any time from the Recent panel.

If you sign in with Google

• We receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google to create your account. We don't get your Google password or access to your Google data.
• Secure sign-in cookies keep you signed in. They are the only cookies we set, and only when you choose to sign in.
• Account data is stored in our database hosted by Supabase.

Connected accounts

If you connect a site account (for example Instagram) to download content only visible when logged in, the login cookies you upload are encrypted with AES-256 before they are stored, used only for your own downloads from that site, and never shown to anyone. You can disconnect at any time, which deletes them.

Deleting your data

Open Account → Delete account to remove your account, sessions and connected accounts permanently. You can also email us and we will delete it for you.

Third parties

When you download, our server contacts the site the link points to (for example YouTube). Thumbnails are loaded through our server so those sites don't see your IP address. Google handles sign-in if you choose to use it.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal data.
