We respect the rights of creators. Social Downloader does not host or store any media: it only fetches a file from the original site when a user asks for it, and deletes it within minutes.

Ask us to block your content

If you own the rights to content and don't want it downloadable through Social Downloader, email [email protected] with:

  1. The link(s) to your content on the original site (for example the YouTube or TikTok address).
  2. Your name, organisation (if any) and contact details.
  3. A statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
  4. A statement that the information in your request is accurate.

We add those links to our block list, usually within 2 business days. Blocked links can no longer be read or downloaded on this site. For removal of the content itself, please also contact the site where it is published.

Counter-notice

If you believe a link was blocked by mistake, email us with the link and an explanation, and we will review it.

Repeat abuse

Accounts that repeatedly use the service to infringe copyright are closed.
